GE HEALTHCARE: OVERVIEW

GE Healthcare is a global medical technology and life sciences company with a presence in Cork, Ireland. The Cork facility is one of the largest GE Healthcare manufacturing sites in the world, and it specialises in the production of advanced medical imaging products, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems, computed tomography (CT) systems, and X-ray systems. The facility also produces components for other GE Healthcare products and provides technical support for customers worldwide. GE Healthcare's Cork facility employs over 800 people, and it is committed to advancing healthcare by developing innovative solutions to improve patient care and outcomes. Need was for a recruitment company whose expertise was in this area with a proven track record of delivering high volumes.

When Kelly first began working with GE Healthcare they were affected by the global events of 2019. The talent market was scarce and they were looking for a sustainable way to source specialist talent for their medical device manufacturing operations. Kelly Services was able to provide them with a sustainable recruitment solution that allowed for them to focus on life-saving medical products. Kelly Services assisted GE Healthcare with finding Process Operators. These candidates were sourced, tested and selected to fit the high quality standards set out by GE Healthcare. 182 placements have been made so far with more coming in 2023.
